PRODUCT CARE
Each product is made by hand, using ethically sourced, pre-consumer textiles that are discarded by the industry. These textiles are unsoiled and unused because they are 'unusable' by the industry due to slight wear-and-tear and weave and pattern defects. We source natural-fibre textiles as much as we can, although due to the sheer volume of discarded fabric that is amassed, we sometimes include material blends as linings and support fabrics to our products.
CUSHIONS & TABLE-LINEN
We recommend spot-cleaning for stains and dry-cleaning if absolutely required. A simple sunning on a terrace or air-drying at home will do to preserve the textile. Do not wash and iron only on low heat.
QUILTS
Quilts should be frequently aired in the sun and spot cleaned. Store in airy muslin or cotton bags or flat on a bed if possible. Quilts must be dry-cleaned every six to eight months.

Singhvi Residence, 2024
A capsule collection of contemporary textiles, custom designed for the master suite of a private residence in New Delhi.
The brief for this interior project was to have textiles that are minimal, yet colourful, and that lend a serene, luxurious feel to the space. We looked at a swatch of wall-paper that would make up one wall of the room, and built our own colour palette from there.

For the quilt, which was the central focus of the space, we went with a minimal block design, designed in an improvised manner using pre-consumer surplus materials for the central panel. The colour palette features shades of beige, tan and off-white, with hints of green, orange and yellow.

The complementary cushion covers add a lot of textural depth, and are designed to give a more organic, raw feel to the textiles.

THE PROCESS

I begin any project by pulling together references of colour, texture and pattern from the client's own moodboard as well as my own past textile work. The references can include fabric swatches, photos of previous work and even swatches from the client's or an interior designer's notes.

The textiles are minimal in both composition and colour, giving the room a peaceful, serene atmosphere. The colours and textures are pleasing to the eye, and the fabrics we chose are soft to the touch.
